Living out in the country is both a blessing and a little bit of a curse...it's peaceful, but now and again there is always a slight down side when living next door to nature - particularly those cute little lambs in the field!
We were so looking forward to a bumper crop of home grown potatoes this year...things were looking up as they were fairly growing so far...When our neighbours appeared in the field next door we were pretty confident that they couldn't get loose with the new fencing up...
We left last weekend for the Scottish Game Fair and one lone pesky lamb somehow had a repeated "great escape" and had a relative feast on our beloved tatties!!!
I just hope they don't go after my veg boxes! Couldn't bear it if it nibbled on those delicious strayberries...
